Monetary and in-kind contributions from private donors help CSS deliver quality, innovative programs and services, including the Annual Fall Festival, Annual Consumer Olympics, Annual Ocean City Beach Vacation, Annual Children's Summer Camp, and end-of-year holiday activities, not funded by state and local government but that elevate our consumers' quality of life. CSS welcomes your service, time and financial support.

Ocean City Fund

Each year, Community Support Services, Inc. sends over 40 adults supported in our residential program to Ocean City, MD for a half-week vacation filled with filled with beach days, boat rides, fishing, boardwalk fun and games, cookouts, dancing at Seacrets nightclub, and waterpark amusements. However, we cannot do this without donor support. It costs $550 per person for this vacation, and the adults who look forward to it each year do not have the means of covering the costs themselves. State funding does not cover recreation expenses. Will you help us make the Ocean City trip possible for these individuals?

Please make a gift to the Ocean City Fund, today!

CSS Funds and their descriptions

General Fund
This fund supports operating expenses, program expenses, and other needs.

Andrew Bozarth Memorial Fund
The Andrew Bozarth Memorial Fund helps finance special programs, including birthday, graduation, and holiday parties, for children and adults with significant developmental disabilities in financial need. The fund also provides monetary support to individuals who cannot afford the full cost of community recreational outings, including the annual Ocean City, MD, beach vacation, and memberships to program and activities they personally enjoy.

Alice G. Ingram Fund
The Alice G. Ingram Memorial Fund awards summer and holiday camp scholarships to children with significant developmental disabilities in financial need. The Ingram Fund gives children, ages five to 20, the ability to participate in a wide variety of constructive, community-based, social & recreational programs and provides support to these individuals and their families during extended school breaks.

Specialized Transportation Fund
CSS Specialized Transportation Fund helps finance the acquisition of new-model, seven-passenger minivans, which CSS uses to deliver a range of both vital and quality-of-life services to children and adults with significant developmental disabilities. In addition to keeping the agency's fleet current, the fund disburses dollars for protection and maintenance, in keeping with State law and safe practice.

Also, please consider donating the proceeds from your recently sold used vehicle to CSS. All funds donated will be used to help CSS purchase a brand new automobile.

Capital Expansion Fund
This fund supports capital expansion projects and physical capacity building (such as home renovations, building additions, accesibility modifications, etc.) needed to enhance service delivery to present consumers and give the agency increased capacity to meet future autism community needs, which are expected to increase significantly in coming years.

Ocean City Vacation Fund
Each year, CSS takes over 25 individuals to Ocean City, MD for a vacation. For many of the individuals who participate, it is often the first time they ever see the ocean, or even have a vacation trip. The majority of the individuals CSS takes to Ocean City are participants in our residential services program, and all of these individuals live below the federal poverty line and cannot afford the cost (approximately $500 per person for a four day stay) of the trip. This special trip is funded almost exclusively by private donations. Make your gift today to send one person or more to Ocean City, or contribute towards the fund to send individuals to Ocean City for many more years to come!
