Thank
you for your interest in partnering with CSS to support children
and adults with autism and other complex developmental delays. Monetary
and in-kind contributions from private donors help CSS deliver quality,
innovative programs and services, including the Annual Fall Festival,
Annual Consumer Olympics, Annual Ocean City Beach Vacation, Annual
Children's Summer Camp, and end-of-year holiday activities, not
funded by state and local government but that elevate our consumers'
quality of life. CSS welcomes your service, time and financial support.
All
donations to CSS are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Please make all financial contributions payable to: "Community

CAPITAL
EXPANSION PROJECT
In the summer CSS will begin the construction of a 10,000 SF annex
onto its existing Community Resource Center. The expansion will
provide CSS with the additional physical space needed to enhance
service delivery to present consumers and give the agency increased
capacity to meet future autism community needs, which are expected
to increase significantly in coming years.
ALICE
G. INGRAM MEMORIAL FUND The
Alice G. Ingram Memorial Fund awards summer and holiday camp scholarships
to children with significant developmental disabilities in financial
need. The Ingram Fund gives children, ages five to 20, the ability
to participate in a wide variety of constructive, community-based,
social & recreational programs and provides support to these
individuals and their families during extended school breaks.
ANDREW
BOZARTH MEMORIAL FUND The
Andrew Bozarth Memorial Fund helps finance special programs, including
birthday, graduation, and holiday parties, for children and adults
with significant developmental disabilities in financial need. The
fund also provides monetary support to individuals who cannot afford
the full cost of community recreational outings, including the annual
Ocean City, MD, beach vacation, and memberships to program and activities
they personally enjoy.
SPECIALIZED
TRANSPORTATION FUND
CSS' Specialized
Transportation Fund helps finance the acquisition of new-model,
seven-passenger minivans, which CSS uses to deliver a range of both
vital and quality-of-life services to children and adults with significant
developmental disabilities. In addition to keeping the agency's
fleet current, the fund disburses dollars for protection and maintenance,
in keeping with State law and safe practice.
Also,
please consider donating the proceeds from your recently sold used
vehicle to CSS. All funds donated will be used to help CSS purchase
a brand new automobile.
ANNUAL
OCEAN CITY, MD, BEACH VACATION FUND
Assistance is
needed to rent 23 four-to-eight-person bay and beachfront homes
at Ocean City, MD, this year for the annual one-week summer retreat
we plan for our adult residential consumers. Assistance is also
needed to help pay -- in part or in full --the expenses, which this
year total $600, of vacationers. Your donation will be used to offset
the costs of food, rentals, transportation, and activities either
for an individual of your choice or for the program in general.
In your check made payable to “Community Support Services,
Inc.” please indicate “Beach Trip 2007” on the
memo line. Please indicate also either “General Vacation Fund”
for a general donation to the program or the full name of the individual(s)
you specifically wish to support.

Mosaic
Tile Wall
A wall dedicated to the individualism, creativity,
and collaborative spirit of CSS stakeholders is located in the CSS
Community Resource Center atrium. The wall is a mosaic of tiles
designed by individuals supported by CSS, their family members,
agency staff members and friends.
Support
the vocational, educational, habilitative, residential, and recreational
work of CSS and help the children and adults we serve achieve their
desired outcomes by purchasing a mosaic tile. Each tile costs $150.
Simply return to us the tile-shaped paper form you receive at purchase
with your completed graphic design. We will take care of the rest.
We will have your design imprinted onto a tile and placed onto our
mosaic wall.
For
more information about designing a tile as a CSS supporter or to
visit the Resource Center to see the mosaic wall, contact Craig
Roberts, Activities Coordinator.
