Eligibility criteria for ADULTS:

 

-          Individual must be at least 21-years-old

 

-          Eligible for DDA placement

 

-          Exhibit a need for CSS services due to behaviors related to autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities

 

-          Unable to function in a less restrictive environment

 

-          Individual or the guardian/advocate/surrogate visits the program and endorses CSS philosophy

 

CSS supports extremely low-income individuals who are using Social Security or Social Security Income as their primary source of income.

 

Adults referred to CSS through DDA or other agencies, low-income individuals, and those in crisis receive top priority for admission.

 

 

 

Eligibility criteria for CHILDREN:

 

-          Age 5-20

 

-          Exhibit a need for CSS services due to behaviors related to autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities

 

-          Unable to function in a less restrictive environment

 

-          Individual or the guardian/advocate/surrogate visits the program and endorses CSS philosophy

 

Most children are referred by public agencies presently responsible for the child. Some families are self-referred and, therefore, fund their child’s program privately.

 

CSS offers scholarships and tuition fees assistance to low-income families. We also offer assistance to low-income families in obtaining financial assistance from the DDA or other social services agencies.
