Hawanatu Koroma

Working through this pandemic has been scary at times. When it started I was pregnant and I felt was putting my life at risk. Then the house I was working in was shut down and I stayed home until after giving birth. While I was out, then the house had COVID positive cases and it was time for me to come back.
Imagine me, as a new mom and a new baby and a three year old and coming to work, it was very scary. It’s challenging to be honest but I’m grateful to have the opportunity and to work with (people with disabilities.) The (clients) don’t have anyone to look out for them and their needs. I can do what I need to do to help them out. And at the end of the day I know whatever I’m doing, I’m doing for a good cause and God is on my side and CSS will give me all the requirements that I need.
