I’ve worked for CSS for the past nine years. The AON position gave me the flexibility to work and go back to college at the same time, but it also allowed me to stay in the special education field. This job has kept my interest because I like helping vulnerable people with special needs and I have empathy for them. I also like the great relationships that I have with the people that I work with. It’s been pretty tough dealing with the pandemic. It was very scary because of the possibility of getting infected with a dangerous virus. But with all of the safety protocols that we were taught and our good practice of them, I’ve been able to escape the virus without being infected. Luckily, I was given the opportunity to take the vaccine, so I did and it gives me a peace of mind.
